In sports and event photography, I can be a fly on the wall, documenting, composing, not interfering. To me, there's something quite freeing about fading into the background. Portraiture, on the other hand, is a whole different world. It comes less naturally to me, so I've challenged myself to study and practice it.
I've been asking my friends to pose for me, and I'm open to doing TFP (in other words, unpaid) shoots with just about anyone willing to have patience as I learn.
